It’s a great place to enjoy eats with the whole family, a date, or some good friends. During football season, this is the place to be.

Known for the good food and great vibes, Rapscallion serves up house-brewed beers in an old-school farmhouse. It’s a great spot if you want to hang at the bar, sit outside on their patio, or find a table inside. Summer weather really helps this spot shine because the bar isn’t huge. But it can still be enjoyed throughout the cooler months as well.

The Red Raven Restaurant
Superb bar fare and a full-service kitchen make this restaurant and bar very desirable. Best yet, it’s located right on the waterfront. Be sure to grab reservations if you’re trying to stop in at this spot. While there are quite a few tables, they fill up quickly, especially the outdoor seating during good weather. Many locals consider this restaurant to be one of the best dining/bar experiences in Acton.

Not Your Average Joe’s
This spot is just not your average bar. It’s so much more than just that. Not Your Average Joe’s is a chain that runs throughout the state, but this one is special. There’s great food, great drinks, and a great staff. You’ll enjoy this restaurant and bar for a laid-back feel.

Filho’s Great Road
A homey spot for bar fare, Italian food, pizzas, pasta, and more. There’s so much that can be enjoyed from this spot. We love it because we love the history that’s tied into all things Italian food, especially when you’re able to enjoy it so close to some of the great histories on the east coast, where some of the first Italian immigrants arrived in North America.

True West Brewing Co.
Some have said True West is one of the best bars in all of Acton. We aren’t quite willing to pick one as a favorite or say it’s the best, but we do really like this spot. One of the big advantages of heading to a brewery vs. an average bar is that you’ll definitely find some unique drinks that might not be available in other places.

The Pleasant Cafe
A pleasant stop on your way through Acton, this cafe has been a watering hole for the community since 1945. The interior features dark wood that give the space a warm and cozy feel. The bar serves up classic drinks along with classic American bar fare. There’s little that anyone would want to change about this quaint and vintage bar.
